Together we support every one of our Nestlé businesses across the North American market – coast to coast. The majority of us are based in St. Louis, Missouri – a big-small town in the Midwest that has quietly and humbly evolved into a highly sought-after tech hub in the U.S. Our head IS/IT offices are in the heart of downtown St. Louis, and we have virtual associates, as well as additional support positioned in each of the locations of our other Nestlé businesses, including:
Dare we say the "Silicon Valley of the Midwest", St. Louis has emerged its ability to compete in the tech space. The city's Cortex Innovation Community just five miles from our downtown office has developed into a 200-acre innovation hub and tech district that's integrated into the beat of this city. Home to the founder of Twitter and Square, and coding education programs like LaunchCode, St. Louis has made its way on the map – this is a tremendous place to be for all things tech.
We occupy one-third of a high-rise building in center-city downtown St. Louis just blocks from local eateries, coffee shops, breweries, stores, and other nearby businesses. Our smart-office design is conducive to intact team collaboration and various ways of working – individually, in small groups, on large teams, hands-on, or in quiet spaces.
We are from everywhere – down the block, across the U.S., and around the globe. We are multiple languages. We are families of different sizes. We are cultures of unique identities. We are one Nestlé. And together, we make St. Louis home.

Commute to Work:
I was surprised with how much I love St. Louis. At first, language was a barrier and I missed my family. I learned that I could visit my family in Brazil, but I wanted to build my life in St. Louis. The city has a lot to offer – it is a great place to raise a family, has minimal traffic, and endless indoor/outdoor activities – we plan to stay for a while.
Moving from another country has its challenges – we had to ship our things, purchase a new house and car, etc. Nestlé supported us along the way making the process much smoother.
I am married; my husband is actually in the IT department here, too. We're expecting a baby girl!
I enjoy traveling, but I also don't mind staying in and watching new television series with my husband.
I enjoy going to Yemanja Brazil, a Brazilian restaurant, as well as Vivianos, a local Italian restaurant.
I love getting together with my Brazilian friends. We like to spend time together in each others' homes with a good food and drinks.
Give it a try! St. Louis may surprise you with all the great things the city has to offer. I was surprised and am really happy I made the decision to move here from one of the largest cities in the Americas.

St. Louis is different from any place I have ever lived for quite a few reasons:
ROOOAAAARRR: The St. Louis Zoo is incredible. It's also free, which was a great surprise!
My wife, Luciana, and I got married in 2016. We have two college-aged children – Orion and Victoria, who attend Arizona State University (ASU).
I am a musician and play a number of instruments. My wife and I love to travel, cook, and watch movies.
We're really into barbecue, so the restaurant, Sugarfire, is a given. We are also big fans of Chipotle. Our last fancy dinners were at Ruths' Chris downtown St. Louis and Cleveland Heath in Edwardsville, IL just across the river.
We enjoy Forest Park during the day and prefer to enjoy our nights in at home, but the sunset view from the 360 Bar downtown is pretty amazing!
If you're coming from the country, you will appreciate the big-city feel of St. Louis, and if your'e coming from a big city, you will appreciate the country feel of St. Louis!

We enjoy going to jog at Al Foster Trail, or any of the multiple trails that are nearby the Eureka/Wildwood area.
There is always something to do, no matter the time of year. Sports, social, cultural, religious, food festivals, etc. Most of the places are within a 30-40 minute drive.
I have a wife who stays at home, a daughter at the University of Missouri – Columbia (Mizzou), as well as a son in his senior year of high school.
I am a tennis enthusiast, play recreational golf, and am passionate about cooking for friends and family. It is easy to find all the food, spices, wine, etc. that I need for the dishes nearby.
Breweries, like Urban Chestnut and Schlafly, or Thai food; I have two favorite places: Lonas Lil’ Eats and Rice Bistro.
We enjoy going with friends to Montel Winery in Augusta.
There are plenty of reasons to consider calling St. Louis home. The city has a competitive school system, the cost of living is reasonable, quality of life is good, fair weather conditions, good transportation system, and reasonable cultural diversity.
St. Louis is a city of neighborhoods with personality – a unique spot around town for every lifestyle and preference. From the eastern part of the city near the Gateway Arch to Lake St. Louis out west, this humble metropolitan city offers the best of every world.
